Job #2 -- Trolling Controlled Depth
To achieve the correct depth can be at times very hard to do even on a good day. In this scene we where fishing five to nine feet suspended off the bottom. The depth was set by referencing the fish finder as fish appeared on the screen. The overall water depth was 20 to 30 feet deep. How to best describe what the DDFisher does when rigged for trolling controlled depth is to call it a mini down rigger at the end of your fish line. The DDFisher becomes very snag resistant when the patent pending Wood & Rock Deflector and E-Z Slide Trolling Sinker is attached to the unit. This set up helps you fish the roughest water bottoms and it'a a mini down rigger!
